The location was really nice. It was a short walk to the beach area. However, you can not take this walk if you have mobility problems or a wheelchair. The rooms were very spacious, the first night we ate in the restaurant, we chose the fish and chips, which when they came out were overcooked, you could not cut the batter with a knife the staff were amazingly friendly and happy to help which was a bonus. The location was good and the hotel was very clean. On a negative note on checking out, I was told I had an outstanding bill of €220.00 which I quickly explained I had paid on check in, the receptionist checked and confirmed I had ,indeed paid. On my drive home, I received a call from one of the managers explaining that a mistake gad been made and I had been double charged, I was assured the refund would be deposited into my account, the following day it had been deposited into my revolut which,I asked them not to as it takes a week to enter the revolut. I am now waiting for my money to clear which,is such an inconvenience. I'm baffled how this could happen, considering I told them my bill was clear. Very dissapointing. Other than that and the meal, the stay was good . And 10/10 for friendly staff and cleanliness

This has to be one of my favourite hotels from the minute you enter the hotel until you leave it’s a seamless experience. The breakfast experience is genuinely the greatest start to your day with big welcoming staff and the ambiance is just beautiful. The room I had was large and had a door onto the roof with views over the sea. I ate in the hotel 4 nights in a row, so that should speak volumes. And the gentleman at reception (Tiago) was a great front of house representative first thing in the morning with a smile and a happy gesture to you before starting my day. The bar was always full of pleasant people with good food. I honestly couldn’t fault this place at all.

We both enjoyed our stay .The hotel was beautiful and a beautiful location. The rooms were fab and layed out very well. The lady who checked us in could not get a sea view room and upgraded us to deluxe room when we arrived at 9 pm. The staff were all so friendly and professional. The hot stone massage was amazing from start to finish thanks to our very friendly professional therapist. I felt so relaxed after the treatment and all the tension seemed to have melted away. The food was lovley in all areas and the Menues had great options. The Jameson bar was a real treat. Thank you Florence and Clifford Melbourne

The hotel location and the decor in the main areas is fabulous. All of the staff were young but professional, courteous and helpful on all interactions. We stayed here less than two years ago and I found the paint work, carpets on route to the hotel rooms looked worn and needed a facelift, also in the bedroom whilst the beds and seating were great quality the paint work and cupboard ( one damaged ) were not up to standard. I feel when you’re paying for a luxury hotel, this type of detail needs to be on point. Bar food and breakfast were fabulous cannot fault this.

Room was a nice size and comfortable. Bar/restaurants were nice and food was excellent. Staff was always nice and helpful, especially Brian, the concierge - super attentive, always greeted us with a smile and asked if we needed anything. The property grounds were beautiful, from what we could see (stormy/rainy for our entire 1-night stay).
